Juniors and Seniors in high school can take this summer workshop, learn about Electronics and Robotics, and earn college credit! The Electronics workshop will cover the applications of electronics, safety, circuits, capacitance, inductance, reactance, impedance, waveforms, basic motors, logic gates, and micro-controllers. The Robotics workshop will cover the applications of robotics for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines, safety, toolpaths, setup, operation, and programming of CNC machines. Students that achieve a high level of learning and complete a session of the summer workshop will be able to take the Credit By Exam (CBE) for ET 102 and MTT 180 and earn 6 units of transferrable college credit.
