Engineering Team Leader- Over seeing Microvellum, AutoCad, CutRite, WoodWop software. Initially challenged with the task of creating a highly customized, functional Microvellum software system to suit the company’s manufacturing preferences, construction techniques, and abilities. Modified Microvellum system drawing tokens to reduce the engineering time required to produce submittal drawings. Plan, elevation, and section drawings are parametrically smart, and include all typical dimensions, hardware callouts, special detailing, and shop notations. Working with project managers, engineers, shop personnel, and installation crews, created a “Builders Book” which detailed all typical product construction, for use in drafting, engineering, shop construction, and installation. This document aided the alignment of all departments. Conducted engineering meetings, to provide continuing education to 10 fellow engineers. Discussions included the use of AutoCad, Microvellum, and the company’s preferred style of submittals, and product engineering.
