    2007-2011 | Sheet Metal Worker/Shop Apprentice/Warehouse Attendant

    Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets. Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds in order to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items. Finish parts, using hacksaws, and hand, rotary, or squaring shears. Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools. Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, and drills. MIG welding with limited blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedure. Taught MIG/ TIG welding to new staff. Operated grinder to remove excess burs, welding wire, etc. as necessary. Set up welder, make necessary adjustments, and replaced spool of welding wire and tips as necessary. Understand the requirements and work within the deadline as supervisor order. Meet the concerned officials regarding the necessary materials and tools. Fixing common problems with the tools and machineries. Pulled orders for customers. Operated and maintained forklifts. Maintained cleanliness of warehouse and responsible for facilitating and coordinating daily operations.
