  2000-2000 | Electrical Apprentice

  Ran all conduit homeruns into panels in MCCs. Ran wire into these homeruns. Did lighting and special systems in the kitchen of a large prison. Connected the old kitchen with our new work. Also ran lightning protection and conduit and wire for large control room, for a large prison facility.

  2001-2002 | Heat trace foreman

  Started running conduit. Soon promoted to QA/QC over conduit and heat trace. Found all work through P&IDs.Did as built drawings for final sale. Troubleshot all circuits and panels during testing. Projects completed were Odessa Natural gas power plant, Lyondell in Pasadena, TX. and Dow Chemical in Orange TX.

  Found plant lines through pipe drawings and P&IDs. Conducted training and safety meetings for employees. Instructed electricians on where and how I wanted conduit ran, wires terminated and circuits designated. kept track of the amps in all circuits to program the panels for optimal efficiency

  Worked on 2 solar power plants as electrical apprentice in Jal, NM. Tested and troubleshot circuits. Terminated and tested combiner boxes and inverter houses. Stayed and completed all T and M work, GE wanted done. Last one out the gate with general foreman after punchlist completed. Drove equipment and truck to Tulare, CA to set up other jobs.

  Directed installers and laborers on the correct and safe way to install solar panels. Safety meetings. Devised the procedures on building the racking for the panel farm. Instructed other crews around the country on how we accomplished so much in such a short time.
