    I had a long career in the hotel industry from 1983-1992 where I maintained the floors, and performed and eventually supervised various maintenance jobs. Because I received so many requests from vendors and patrons of the hotel to perform services for them, I started S & D Maintenance provided the following services: • Upholstery and Carpet Cleaning • Wood Floor Refinishing • Floor Stripping/Waxing • Dry Wall • Painting • Building Maintenance

    Painter: Prepared surfaces (ceilings, walls, wood) for painting. Plaster Repairs: • Flat taping with paper tape and mesh tape • Patch work • Spot priming • Applying Durabond and all purpose compound • Skim coating • Sanding areas and prep to paint Hanging Drywall • Reading a tape measurer correctly • Measuring and cutting the drywall • Using hammer, screw gun, T-square, carpentry square finish knives Painting • Interior/exterior painting priming • Rolling interior/exterior walls and ceiling • Cutting in/applying paint with brushes / trim work • Cleaning mold (water related damages) areas before painting to ensure mold is dead • Using drop cloth at all times • General cleaning up of area(s) after work is completed • Paint crew responsible for over 3,000 apartments
