    1990-2005 | Assistant & Chief Boat Engineer

    I was responsible for directing all aspects of daily operations including trouble shooting and maintaining 645, 16 & 20 cylinder engines, 20 cylinder Detroit generators, electrical water pumps, fuel oil center fugue, deck and hoist winches, hydraulics, grease and oil gears, search lights, oil levels on flanking and steering systems, all AC units light fixtures, and plumbing. I also rebuilt 15-EMD 645 16 & 20 cylinder engines, Slanted 8 Caterpillar, main engines water pumps, and air controls, replace turbo clutches, assisted with crank shafts, governors on main engines, scavenging pumps, and helped remove front end of main engines to remove gears.

    I was responsible for trouble shooting military 806 B-Models John Deere, FG Wilson's Perkins Engines 10K-150K, Cummings 90KW-150K, Atlas Coup 60 KW, Prime Power Cummins 750 KW V12's ,Whisper Watts John Deere Slanted 6 cylinder, civilian generators, and re-strap generator wirings on some models. I rebuilt heads on all generator models. I was also responsible for inspecting, maintaining, rebuilding, wiring, changing oil, replacing turbos, injectors, fuel pumps, water pumps, and replacing mother boards. I also successfully supervised multiple men.
