    2013-2013 | Floor hand

    This was my first real job right out of high school. We would work 16 to 17 hours a day. It helped me to decide I should go back to school, and make more money if I was going to work those hours.

  • Bolin Construction Inc

    2013-2014 | Welders helper

    Got a lot of great tips from the welder I worked for who had been through the program I was going to be in. Learned how to use a cutting torch, strike an arc, and got to lay down my first beads.

  • Maverick Manufacturing & Filters

    2014-Present | Shop Hand & Welder

    We manufacture water filtration systems. I do a lot of MIG welding. I have been learning to use the mill and lathe. We do mostly steel work, but some of the parts we machine and weld are aluminum. I have gotten a lot of fabrication experience which I believe will be helpful throughout my career.
