2002-2002 | Ironworker/Welder
Overseas Contract; I was responsible for constructing a two story steel wastewater treatment building and two steel ramps, which included bolting and or welding the beams together, rigging the steel to be hoisted with straps or chains ( using hand signals to direct cranes lifting the steel). I also read detail blueprints and I had to get certified in SMAW, using 7018 welding rod in all positions on mild steel. Some of the tools used were, SMAW machine, oxy-fuel, pneumatic tools and hand tools.
2003-2003 | Environmental Technician
Contract; I helped in the equipment setup process to cleanup anthrax at the Hamilton, New Jersey post office. My responsibilities were to monitor and record readings from chillers, boilers, heaters and air conditioning units. I also installed thousands of feet of cable, from coaxial cable to #4 size cable. Cut, reamed, threaded and installed hundreds of feet of black iron pipe from 1 inch to 4 inch pipe. I also used auto pipe threading machine, reamers and pipe cutters.
2004-2004 | Welder
Contract; Modify and upgrade light armored military vehicles for the marines on Camp Pendleton military base. My responsibilities were using GMAW and GTAW (following detailed blueprints) and installing muffler shrouds, heads-up displays, limit switches and electrical wiring. I also modified headlights, motor mounts, gas can holders and stainless steel engine pipes. I used a plasma cutter, hand tools, grinder and hand drills.
2004-2005 | Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance work on a concrete and asphalt plant. Building and repair of conveyors, rebuild rock crushing machines, repair and install hydraulic and pneumatic rams. Install gearboxes, motors, pumps, limit switches, shafts and bearings. I used SMAW in all positions on mild steel and AR400 plate, hard facing, oxy-fuel cutting, air arc gouging and use of various power and hand tools.
2005-2006 | Welder/Fabricator
Overseas Contract; My responsibilities were using GMAW on steel and aluminum in all positions and on various thicknesses ferrous and non ferrous metal. SMAW and FCAW was used on mild steel and armor plate in all positions. I also used GTAW in all positions, on aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel. I repaired vehicles for the marines in Iraq and fabricated and or repaired anything they needed for their mission. Oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting, hand drill, grinder, hand tools and band saw are just some of the tools I used.

Overseas Contract; My responsibilities as a certified welder was welding, fabricating and installing hi-tech surveillance systems onto MRAP military vehicles. I also had to train and teach others on the correct welding procedures to use on these vehicles. I Used and maintained a plasma cutter, SMAW, FCAW machines, hand tools, power saw, pneumatic tools and grinders. My other duties were to install, troubleshoot and repair hi-tech surveillance systems on military vehicles. I also installed various types of cabling, soldering, crimping, splicing of cables and reading complex blueprints (welding and electrical).

2013-2014 | Field Engineer
Overseas Contract; ASC with top secret security clearance. Certified welder to AWS standards in GMAW, SMAW and FCAW in most positions. Plasma cutting, detailed blueprint reading, oxy-fuel cutting, and layout and fit up of parts. Maintenance repair of 20 plus buildings. Locksmith training and installation of many different types of regular locks and high security locks.
